Registering
Access to DIAMM Images is free of charge, and is not limited to those with academic affiliation, but requires completion of a copyright agreement.
The security of the images for the owners and rights holders has been our primary concern, and in many cases our care over copyright protection has been the deciding factor in archives allowing us to make their images available through this web portal. This is why all users must agree to the Restricted Website Access Agreement. Registering online constitutes agreement with this contract, and you should download this document, read it carefully and ensure you can meet its requirements before registering online. You will require Adobe Acrobat Reader to read the licence.
In order to register, please complete the online registration form, which may also be accessed by clicking on the link 'Register with DIAMM' in the navigation bar.
The system will allocate a random password which will be sent to you using the e-mail that you insert in the form. This password may be changed once you are logged in by following the link under 'Access images'.
Please note that not all sources listed on this website are accompanied by images, however we hope that you find this resource useful. Updates to the web interface and to the image content take place at regular intervals, but if you have any specific needs or requirements please contact the Project Manager. Occasionally the web server has to be taken down in order to allow for maintenance or other work: if you urgently need access to images during one of these periods please contact the Project Manager by e-mail: diamm[at]music.ox.ac.uk
