To Calibrate your screen or monitor for optimum image reproduction, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Windows Start menu
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Control Panel
  4. Double click on the Display icon
  5. Click on the Settings tab
  6. In the 'Colours' portion of the window, select 'High colour (16 bit)' or 'Millions of colours', then click on the 'Advanced' button at the bottom of the window.
  7. Select the colour profile that matches your monitor. If your monitor description is not available choose sRGB Colour Space Profile as this is a generic colour profile.
  8. When you have completed these steps, Click on 'Apply' and 'OK' to exit the control panels. The image below should now show a smooth gradation of colour from white to black, and ideally you should be able to differentiate between A, B & C, and X Y & Z.
